Duke and North Carolina are set to play the latest reprise of their storied rivalry in less than two weeks. It's a matchup that pits two of men's college basketball's perennial blue bloods—separated by only a 10-mile stretch of Tobacco Road—against each other.

The rivalry has produced memorable moments over the years, but the lore and tradition surrounding the Duke-North Carolina game isn't limited to the court. Duke students tent for weeks before the game in hopes of snagging a coveted spot in Section 17.
