The Blue Devils and Spartans will square off in a rematch of last season's Elite Eight.

After a heartbreaking loss in the Elite Eight last season, the Duke men's basketball team won't have to wait long to try to get revenge.

Per multiple sources Thursday morning, the Blue Devils will head to East Lansing on Dec. 3 to face Michigan State in the 2019 ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Mike Krzyzewski holds a lifetime 11-2 record against Spartans' head coach Tom Izzo despite March's 68-67 loss that ended Duke's season.

Other marquee games in next year's challenge include Michigan traveling to face Louisville and North Carolina hosting Ohio State. The ACC holds the advantage in the competition with a 12-5-3 record since its inception in 1999, and the conferences split the matchups with seven apiece in 2018.

The Blue Devils have only made one trip to the Breslin Center— which opened in 1989. Shelden Williams led then No. 6 Duke to a blowout 72-50 victory over No. 5 Michigan State in 2003.

The matchup with the Spartans is another addition to a Blue Devil schedule that's slowly starting to take shape. Duke will have their annual game in the Champions Classic, this time against Kansas on Nov. 5. Other scheduled games are home bouts against Brown and Colorado State. It was also released late Wednesday night that the Blue Devils will host Central Arkansas on Nov. 12.

The non-conference schedule for the 2019-20 season is expected to be released sometime in July, with the full schedule coming in September. Duke's slate of conference opponents has already been announced by the ACC.
