Since 1905, printed copies of The Chronicle have served as the first draft of Duke University's history. 

Although news is now instant and digital, The Chronicle is still on stands, in ink-stained newsprint, twice per week. 

Digital copies of pages become thin metal plates, then they are taken to the press. Colorful ink pours over the pages as the press starts. 

The Chronicle's Charles York and Henry Haggart took a trip to Triangle Web Printing in Durham, where The Chronicle is made, to capture the process of print.
