Duke Athletics suspends all scheduled home events due to Hurricane Florence

This weekend's graduate student campout for men's basketball tickets will be postponed due to Hurricane Florence.

After an announcement from the university Tuesday morning that the school's emergency protocol will begin Thursday at noon, Duke Athletics has suspended its events this weekend as well.

All home sporting events from Friday through Sunday have been either canceled or postponed, Duke announced in a press release Tuesday morning. According to the release, Duke will attempt to reschedule all postponed events, but canceled events will not be rescheduled.

Saturday football game at Baylor in Waco, Texas, far from the effects of the storm, is still expected to be played as scheduled.

Men’s soccer vs. North Carolina – POSTPONED

Men’s & women’s tennis Bonk Invitational – CANCELLED

Men’s basketball graduate school campout – POSTPONED

Saturday, Sept. 15

Volleyball vs. North Dakota – CANCELLED 

Men’s & women’s tennis Bonk Invitational – CANCELLED

Men’s basketball graduate school campout – POSTPONED

Sunday, Sept. 16

Field hockey vs. St. Joseph’s – POSTPONED

Volleyball vs. North Carolina – POSTPONED 

Men’s & women’s tennis bonk invitational – CANCELLED

Men’s basketball graduate school campout – POSTPONED
