Although it is certainly a bold move, I respect the new look. Letting the mop flop freely during practice can be distracting, and what better way is there to stay fashionable and practical than the man bun?
Expect O’Connell to keep up the creativity as Duke approaches the 2018-19 season. I still stand by my prediction that a mullet is next, but this is just merely speculation.
