Grayson Allen has stayed in the news as the NBA Draft approaches.

Following a public Twitter feud, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel and senator/Grayson Allen doppelganger Ted Cruz decided to settle their beef on the court.

Preceding the one-on-one battle, Allen appeared in a video on Cruz’s Twitter account, voicing his belief in the former presidential candidate’s basketball skills.

The recent Duke graduate sided wisely, as the Texan triumphed over Kimmel by a score of 11-9 on Saturday night.

While Cruz relished in his basketball victory, his opponent in the 2018 Senate Race, Congressman Beto O’Rourke, organized a march to the tent camps in Tornillo, where migrant children are housed after being separated from their parents, a policy that the incumbent Republican has supported.

Following his reunion with Cruz, Allen continues to prepare for the NBA Draft on Thursday, where he is expecting to go in the latter half of the first round.
