Mike Krzyzewski quietly added unranked guard Jordan Goldwire to his 2017 recruiting class.

Duke is still waiting on decisions from its top targets for next year's class—five-stars Trevon Duval, Kevin Knox and Mohamed Bamba—but the Blue Devils are starting to fill out the rest of their roster after losing more than half their players.

Jordan Goldwire announced his commitment to Duke via Twitter Monday night. The 6-foot-1 guard flew under the radar in the recruiting world—he was not rated by ESPN or 247Sports. Goldwire was also considering Eastern Kentucky.

The addition of Goldwire will give the Blue Devils more backcourt depth off the bench after losing Matt Jones, Luke Kennard and possibly Frank Jackson from last year's team.

Goldwire will join Alex O'Connell and Gary Trent Jr. as freshmen in next season's backcourt. His decision is unlikely to impact whether Duval will join him as a guard next year, as Duval would likely earn more playing time than his backcourt classmates.

Goldwire played alongside a pair four-star prospects, including Louisville signee Lance Thomas, helping Norcross High School reach the state championship this year in Georgia.
