Injury Report: Duke football vs. Miami

Rather than go trick-or-treating, the Blue Devils will face off against a dangerous Miami team Saturday at 7 p.m. at Wallace Wade Stadium. Ahead of a pivotal matchup for both teams in regard to the up-in-the-air race for the ACC Coastal Division, Duke released its weekly injury report Thursday:

OUT

DE Kyler Brown (leg)

WR Trevon Lee (lower body)

OG Cody Robinson (upper body)

WR Chris Taylor (lower body)

OUT FOR SEASON

LB Kelby Brown (leg)

CB Bryon Fields (leg)

DT Zach Morris (leg)

DE Taariq Shabazz (leg)

Breakdown: Lee and Taylor will miss their second straight game at receiver for the Blue Devils, putting a bit of strain on the options available to quarterback Thomas Sirk. Against Virginia Tech last week, though, Sirk spread the ball around, completing big plays to Max McCaffrey and Anthony Nash and also working tight ends Erich Schneider and David Reeves into the action.

Kyler Brown will also miss his second straight game after hurting his leg early in the third quarter at Army Oct. 10. Robinson has been sidelined since the Northwestern game.

Duke head coach David Cutcliffe said after practice Thursday that freshman wide receiver T.J. Rahming—who missed the Army game and played limited snaps at Virginia Tech—is feeling healthier this week and should play as such Saturday. The Powder Springs, Ga., native has been one of Duke's most explosive players in space this season.
