Duke football injury report: N.C. Central

The Blue Devils released their weekly injury report Thursday evening in advance of Saturday's 6 p.m. home contest against N.C. Central.

OUT

RB Jela Duncan (upper body)

DE Taariq Shabazz (leg)

OUT FOR SEASON

LB Kelby Brown (leg)

CB Bryon Fields (leg)

DT Zach Morris (leg)

Breakdown: This week's report is identical to the list Duke posted last week ahead of its season opener at Tulane. Duncan will miss his second straight game as he works his way back from a partially torn pectoral muscle suffered during fall camp. In his stead, sophomore Shaun Wilson led the ground attack against the Green Wave with 77 rushing yards, and senior Shaquille Powell added 24. Redshirt sophomore Joseph Ajeigbe—who like Wilson dealt with a leg injury during camp—was not listed on the Blue Devil injury report last week but did not register any statistics against Tulane.

Stay tuned to the Blue Zone for continued coverage leading up to Saturday's Bull City Classic against the Eagles.
