Ingram to take visits with other suitors, Kennard and Maker's summer mixtapes drop

It's been another quiet week in the recruiting world, but Brandon Ingram did announce some visits—and the destinations will not please Blue Devil fans.

In the Class of 2015, Duke is looking to make Ingram, a North Carolina native, the third member of its recruiting class. Unfortunately for the Blue Devils, however, Ingram tweeted this a few days ago and one team from his final six was left out:

Later, in an interview with ZagsBlog, Ingram announced he would go to Midnight Madness at North Carolina Oct. 3, Kansas Oct. 10 and Kentucky Oct. 17, with the latter two serving as official visits.

There were rumors that Ingram’s visit at Duke had not gone well and this only echoes those sentiments. Now, the Blue Devils may have to shift their focus from the talented small forward to the talented big man we covered last week, Diamond Stone.

The end of the summer also means the release of new mixtape including two this week that’ll interest Blue Devil fans.

For the 2015 class, commit Luke Kennard’s summer mixtape was released and will only increase the hype for when the five-star sharpshooter finally arrives on campus:

And in the class of 2016, athletic freak Thon Maker has a new mixtape that will explain very quickly why he’s one of the elite players in his class.

That’s all for another quiet week in the recruiting world. Be sure to stay with the Blue Zone for all your recruiting news.
