Duke Women's Golf Grabs Third Seed at East Regional

From May 10-12, Duke women's golf will be in Pennsylvania to play in the NCAA  regional at Penn State Golf Courses after earning the third seed in the East Region.  Duke will tee off alongside first seed Alabama and second seed Arizona State as the team looks to win its first regional title since 2007.

The eighth ranked Blue Devils feature junior Lindy Duncan, ranked number one in the NCAA by Golfweek, sophomore Laetitia Beck, ranked number 45, sophomore Alejandra Cangrejo, and juniors Courtney Ellenbogen and Stacey Kim.  Lead by ACC Coach of the Year Dan Brooks, Duke is fresh off the team's 17th ACC title.

If the Blue Devils finish in the top eight, then the team will move on to the NCAA tournament, taking place May 22-25 in Vanderbilt, where the team would look for its first win since taking three straight titles from 2005 to 2007.
