With the MLS SuperDraft set to commence today in Baltimore, Maryland, Duke senior Cole Grossman is pegged by some to be selected in the top 10 after an impressive performance at the draft combine.
Held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the combine featured all of the top prospects for tomorrow's draft, and Grossman's consistency has him ranked as one of the top midfielders in the draft class. Fox Soccer's Ives Galarcep noted Grossman as one of only a few players whose stock is rising in his combine report found here:
"There weren’t many standout central midfield performances at the Combine, but Grossman was one of the steadier players over the weekend, showing good two-way qualities and a nose for goal. Projected as a late first-rounder heading into the Combine, Grossman did more than enough to solidify his place in the first round."
