Speculation On Wall's Future Continues

After Xavier Henry announced his intentions to play for the Kansas Jayhawks earlier this week, Raleigh's John Wall became the consensus top uncommitted recruit in this year's class.  As such, the speculation about where Wall will end up has hit a fever pitch, especially considering some reports have listed as many as eight schools that Wall is still considering, after John Calipari's defection to Kentucky threw the point guard's recruitment into flux.

But it appears that the long, strange journey for Wall may be coming to a close. Recruiting website rivals.com reported today that Wall may have his decision as soon as next week.

"I think I know where I want to go," Wall said.

Most recruiting analysts believe that Calipari's Wildcats are in the lead for Wall's services, but there is reason for Blue Devil fans to be hopeful. Many of those same experts think that Wall's choice will come down to Kentucky and Duke, and WRAL reported today that Wall may in fact be favoring the Blue Devils, despite the fact a scheduled meeting between Wall and head coach Mike Krzyzewski Wednesday was postponed.
