Good news for Duke fans displaced in New York: You'll have a chance to see Mike Krzyzewski aside from his yearly appearance for a game in the Tri-State Area.
On April 20, Krzyzewski will be interviewed by The New York Times' Michael Schmidt as part of the newspaper's TimesTalks program, which offers a slate of conversations with high-profile figures.The talk, a 90-minute discussion likely followed by a question-and-answer session, starts at 6:30 p.m. in TheTimesCenter on West 42nd Street.
The interview is timed to coincide with the April 6 release of "The Gold Standard: Building a World-Class Team," Krzyzewski's book recounting his experience coaching Team USA to a gold medal.
