We've been waiting since we first heard about the project in June, and now it's finally here: "The Battle For Tobacco Road," HBO's documentary about the Duke-North Carolina rivalry, premieres Sunday at The Carolina theater in Durham before airing on HBO Feb. 23. Expected to be at the premiere are some of the biggest names in the rivalry--and, somehow, yours truly, who will be offering some scenes from the day on this very blog.
But while you wait, check out the trailer for the film, which already has more than 8,000 views on YouTube. If the trailer's any indication, I have a feeling I'm going to have chills for a long time Sunday.
