NFL coach next OC for Duke?

In an interview with the Ohio State football website Bucknuts.com, recruit Izzy Bauta said Duke's "new [Offensive Coordinator] is a former Arizona Cardinals coach."

The report, which was released Sunday night, could not be confirmed by The Chronicle, and no official reports had surfaced as of press time. Regardless, rumors immediately began circulating that cited specific names, though such rumors lacked sufficient credibility to warrant publication.

Bauta, whose older brother Lavdrim is a redshirt freshman offensive guard for the Blue Devils, told Bucknuts.com that Duke had stood out for him along with Ohio State in his visits thus far. Regarding his official visit in Durham this past weekend, Bauta said, "It was all right. There are some coaching changes going on down there. The new [Offensive Coordinator] is a former Arizona Cardinals coach. There are coaches from Syracuse, Georgia Tech and Stanford. A lot of quality coaches coming in."
