Duke alum Stephen Miller interviewed in Mueller probe

Stephen Miller, Trinity '07 and a senior policy adviser to President Donald Trump, has been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to a report by CNN

CNN's reporting cites several sources familiar with the investigation. Miller's interview reportedly covered the firing of FBI Director James Comey.

Miller was involved in the drafting of a memo that explained Trump's decision to fire Comey, though that memo was later ditched due to concerns from White House counsel Don McGahn, the New York Times has reported

Mueller's investigation has taken a more public profile in recent weeks with the indictments of Trump Campaign Manager Paul Manafort and the guilty plea from foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos. Papadopoulos told attendees—reportedly including Miller—at a March 2016 meeting that he could set up a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Miller did not respond to a request for comment from CNN.
