The School of Nursing moved from fourth place to first in best graduate schools, according to the U.S. News and World Report. 

The School of Nursing is the best in the country, according to the latest rankings by U.S. News and World Report for best graduate schools.

The School's master’s and doctor of nursing practice programs each placed first in the report. Its pediatric practitioner for primary care program finished second, and its doctor of nursing practice for anesthesia program was ranked third.

The School of Medicine as a whole was tied at number seven for research, which is an improvement from last year's ranking of eighth.

In addition, Duke Law was ranked number 10 for top law schools, which is up from 11th place last year, and the Fuqua School of Business remained tied for 12th place among top MBA programs.

According to the U.S. News and World Report, the ranking are “based on statistical surveys sent to administrators at more than 1,970 graduate programs and from reputation surveys sent to more than 16,500 academics and professionals in the disciplines.”
