Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg visited Duke to talk with men's basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski.

While many students are away for Spring Break, one prominent college drop-out visited Duke.

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg stopped by the University Monday to meet with men's basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski and his team. In a post on his Facebook account, the billionaire said he was "interested in how sports form the basis for communities."

He thanked Coach K for discussing how he sets values within the basketball program.

The stop was part of Zuckerberg's tour of all 50 states, wrote Michael Schoenfeld, vice president for public affairs and government relations. As part of his new year's resolution, Zuckerberg is striving to meet people in every state in the U.S.

Zuckerberg's visit to the region also included stops at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill—where he met with its men's basketball team—and North Carolina A&T State University, where he led a town hall discussion.

Replying to a comment on his post asking if Duke junior Grayson Allen had tripped him during his visit, Zuckerberg offered a simple rejoinder.

"No, he was very nice," he wrote. "Sometimes the way you appear on TV is very different from the way you are in real life."
