Graduate student Amile Jefferson will miss Duke's first road game against a top-15 opponent.

Graduate student Amile Jefferson suffered a bone bruise on his right foot Saturday against Boston College and will miss the Florida State game Tuesday night, interim head coach Jeff Capel said on the ACC's weekly teleconference Monday.

Capel said Jefferson will be re-evaluated Wednesday, adding that sophomore Chase Jeter and freshman Javin DeLaurier will be available after missing the past few games with minor injuries.

Jefferson, who missed most of the 2015-16 season after fracturing his right foot in December 2015, went down with about seven minutes left in the first half Saturday after missing a shot inside. The Philadelphia native is averaging 13.6 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, adding invaluable leadership to a team that has been decimated by injuries.

Capel said after Saturday's game that Jefferson is as important as any Blue Devil to the team's success this year.
