The University's Board of Trustees convened Friday to make appointments and hear updates on campus projects.

In a meeting of the Executive Committee—led by Chair David Rubenstein, Trinity '70—members approved the renewal of administrative appointments, appointments to tenure and an appointment to the Duke University Health System Board of Directors, according to an email from Richard Riddell, vice president and university secretary.

The establishment of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Quasi Fund as well as a lease of space in Washington, D.C. was also approved.

In addition, the Board heard updates on the Duke Forward Campaign and the search for President Richard Brodhead's successor. They also received information on Duke Kunshan University as well as undergraduate admissions and construction work on campus.

Following the meeting, Board members took a tour of current construction projects on West Campus.
