Manning brothers, Broncos and Giants teammates back at Duke

It's that time of year again.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and several of their teammates—including former Blue Devil Kenny Anunike—are back in Durham working out at the Duke football facilities.

Peyton Manning, who starred at Tennessee under the direction of Duke head coach David Cutcliffe, has made a habit of coming to campus in the spring to work out with his mentor in recent years, and apparently had some fun at Anunike's expense at the end of Thursday's session.

Manning has grown accustomed to Duke, but he brought a tour guide with him in Anunike, a member of Cutcliffe's program for six years. The Galena, Ohio, native suffered an elbow injury at the end of the preseason that landed him on injured reserve and likely cost him a spot on the Broncos' practice squad, but could compete for a backup slot in 2015.

The other Broncos working out with Manning at Duke are wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders, Andre Caldwell and Cody Latimer, as well as tight ends Owen Daniels and Virgil Green. Daniels is a new addition to the Broncos this year and will help fill the void left by Julius Thomas, who left Denver for the Miami Dolphins.

Sanders had a bit of fun with Anunike's tweet, posting a revised version to his own Twitter account with teammate and fellow wide receiver Demaryius Thomas' head photo-shopped over Anunike's. Sanders appeared to give credit to Manning for the touch-up.

Eli Manning and Giant receivers Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle are also on campus and Cruz posted a picture of the quartet at Cameron indoor Stadium Thursday afternoon on Twitter and Instagram. The workouts in Durham for the core players in New York's passing game have also become customary and the group seemed just as comfortable as their Broncos counterparts based on the image captured on the hardwood.
