I hope everyone is gearing up for what is bound to be another exciting installment in the Duke-North Carolina rivalry. As you turn through the pages of today’s print edition, you may notice something about our paper is different than what we usually print on rivalry days.

Following the legendary Tar Heel coach’s passing Feb. 7, we at The Chronicle knew we had to honor the late Tar Heel legend—we just had to find the right moment. Tonight’s game will be that moment.
On the day of the home Duke-North Carolina game, we normally print “GTHC” on our centerspread as a banner for students to hold at games. However, this year’s banner holds a different sentiment—one of respect for one of the greatest coaches in sports history.
