The Blue Devils return to action Friday in the second round of the ACC Tournament. After having a bye in the first round, second-seeded Duke will play the winner of seventh-seeded Maryland against 10th-seeded Wake Forest.

Mason Plumlee highlights five All-ACC honors for Duke

Mason Plumlee was selected to the All-ACC first team, one of five Blue Devils to earn conference honors. Seth Curry was named to the second team, Quinn Cook was named to the third team, and Ryan Kelly earned an honorable mention. Rasheed Sulaimon was named to the conference's freshman team.

Duke basketball moves up to No. 2 in the AP Poll

The Blue Devils moved up to No. 2 in this week’s AP Poll, receiving 11 of the 65 first-place votes. Gonzaga, which held on to the top spot, received the other 54. The Bulldogs received 51 last week as the others were split between then-No. 3 Duke, then-No. 2 Indiana and Georgetown, which stayed No. 5.

Curry named ACC Player of the Week, Sporting News second-team All-American

Scoring 20 points in each of Duke's wins against Virginia Tech and North Carolina last week, Curry was named the ACC Player of the Week for the second time this season. Curry keyed Duke's hot start against the Tar Heels, scoring 18 points in the first half and making his first seven field goals of the game.

And after making the All-ACC second team, Curry was the lone Blue Devil to earn All-America honors from Sporting News. Curry was named to the Sporting News' second team.

How does rest affect Curry's performance?

Curry has been playing through a nagging leg injury all season, which has caused him to miss more than half of Duke's practices. The extra rest allows him to recover and get ready for games.

So, with Duke entering the postseason, how has Curry fared on shorter rest? In games with at least four days of rest, Curry is averaging 19.5 points per game. In games with one or zero days of rest, he's putting up 11.0 points per game.
